[ ]Traveling Highlands
The Majuto Pride's territory happens to be the more rugged of the two prides. These hills stretch out to the expanse of the Kiwara Pride, but border mainly nomad range. Covered in green grass, many of the lionesses of the pride, and aging cubs will come and sit amongst these rolling hills and protect the pride from intruders. This is the main means of exit for the Majuto Pride, and nomads wishing to become a pride member most commonly enter from this scrap of territory.

[ ]Scattered Tree Grasslands
Miles long and miles wide, this follows the slope of the Traveling Highlands. Despite the gentle flow downward, it is still flat as a prairie, with only the occasional baobab tree in sight. This is the widest expanse of flat ground in the Majuto Pride, and the part of the prideland providing the least amount of shade. This is also the bit of territory most likely to be invaded by the Kiwara Pride, or stampeded by herds of buffalo.

00
[ ]Hill-Carved River
Where the hills of the Traveling Highlands begin to swoop, forming a 'J', a river springs from an unknown source, and is carried down the hillsides to where the rushing water has carved out a path for a river to flow. This divides the Scattered Tree Grasslands in an unequal two. The water slaps against the grasslands for a few metres, creating taller grass, which has spread to the left of the river. This is the closest source of water to the general pride sleeping area.

00
[ ]Trampled Grass Tree Shelter
The tall grass near the riverside has been trampled, and an acacia tree has been snapped in half here. Creating some shade and comfortable spots to lay down in, the pride will normally sleep in this off-center area for various reasons, but mainly because it allows them to survey their territory with ease. Gatherings are held here, and pride socialisation also takes place here.

[ ]Mafunde
Mafunde means ‘overcast sky’ in Swahili, and is named accordingly because of the vast open plains that dominate most of this pride’s territory. Shelter is minimal here, and the borders are marked by thorny bushes and the odd baobab tree. However, prey is usually abundant, shown by the lions that lay in waiting in the grass, and in the wet season, the nomads are plentiful here.

[ ]Ardhi Hollow
What used to be a small watering hole has since dried out and become a decline in the landscape of the pride’s territory. The Hollow even smells musty and earthy, and its bed is cracked and riddled with small stones and soft soil as a reminder of its past. The ditch often serves as a resting place or a ‘nursery’ of sorts for a few females to look after cubs when the others go off hunting.

00
[ ]Moja Kingune
In the middle of the pride’s lands is a single, solitary baobab tree. It stands out against the landscape, nicknamed ‘Moja Kingune’, which means ‘one tree’ in English. The tree offers shelter during the hotter months of the year and is where most of the pride lazes about when it reaches midday. A firm socialising point of the Kiwara territory, Moja Kingune is one of the more noticeable areas in the vicinity.

[ ]Mzoga Jabali
Towards the end of the territory, hilly terrain rises up to meet the borders of the Majuto pride. Also known as Mzoga Jabali, these hills are where a few hyenas have been slaughtered for sneaking onto lion turf. Their bones can still be found now-and-again, but are mainly bleached white due to vultures and other carrion birds picking at the remainders of the animals. Some nomads try to get into the pride this way, although the skeletons of other victims persuade them to find a different route.

[ ]Bedawi Outcrop
To an onlooker, it would seem as if a small number of flat-surfaced rocks have suddenly burst upwards from the middle of the planet. Certainly, the Bedawi Outcrop definitely looks like that, what with its mixture of rough and smooth-faced slabs, but it provides a good lookout to survey the plains and is perfect for lions to sun themselves on in the summer. Young cubs can also come here to play whilst their mothers hunt, as long as they’re careful not to distract their parents.

[ ]Kapera Thicket
Nicknamed Bachelor Thicket because of the simple fact that, at certain times of the year, rogue males can be found loitering within the small copse of trees, Kapera Thicket is where a lot of nomadic lionesses come to give birth to their cubs if they haven’t got a pride. It’s also where a lot of carrion can be found, due to other carnivores wanting to hide their kills, and offers good shelter during particularly hot days.

[ ]Maji Matamu
Translating into ‘fresh water’ in English, Maji Matamu is one of the main watering holes in the area, home to a variety of creatures, both predator and prey. During the dry months, the banks shrivel up slightly and become accessible by foot whilst muddy pools of water are all that remain of the great watering hole, but when the monsoon season arrives, this place is alive with activity. Various herbivores mull around here during the day, including zebra and gazelle, and if you’re lucky, you might be able to catch some of them off-guard and get yourself an easy meal.

[ ]Duma Lowlands
Consisting of nothing but short grass and a few acacia trees, the lowlands contain a small amount of life, mainly gazelle and a few wildebeest. Camouflage is difficult to come by and most nomads hunt here due to the fact that a lot of herbivores give birth here, so catching a small meal is relatively easy if you time it right and have enough patience.
